The following obit appeared in the October 26, 1961 Star:

Louis Allen Mallory, 49, of Front Royal died there this morning. He was the son of the late William B and Valley Levi Mallory. Mr. Mallory was an electrician and a member of the Electrician's Union in Front Royal.

Survivors include his widow, the former Miss Anna Broy; a daughter, Mrs. Samuel Duncan of Rossville, GA.; a grandson, Bryan Allen Duncan; and three sisters, Mrs. Josh Huff, Mrs. J. H. Clark, all of Berryville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is resting at the Maddox Funeral Home at Front Royal.
