MRS. LUCIE BELL LOCKE

Mrs. Lucie Bell Locke died at her son's home in Loundon County on March 13th. She was born in Clarke county on July 26, 1880, the daughter of the late Frank and Hanna Willingham Locke of Clarke County. She is survived by her husband Edward L Locke and these children: Nelson Locke of Philomont; Howard F Locke, of Boyce; Mrs. May Ritter, of Berryville; Mrs. Lena Carroll, of Boyce; Mrs. Ruby Johnson, of Middleburg; Mrs. Bette Strother, of Berryville; Mrs. Matilda Henson, of Middleburg; and Mrs. Dorothy Thomas of Boyce; also one sister, Mrs. Lula Willis of Stephenson, VA.; and one half-brother, Kent Locke of Berryville and 32 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Services were held last Friday from the John H Enders Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Lynwood Daniels of the Boyce Methodist Church. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Smallwood, John Livengood, John Crim, Rhufoe Brown, Carl H Furr and W. L. Furr.
