Richard F. Anderson, 51, R.D. 1, Cambridge Springs, died at CityHospital, Saturday, Aug. 10, 1985, following a lengthy illness.

He was born at Washington Feb. 9, 1934, a son of Joseph and Olive Filby Anderson. he married Sally Baker March 20, 1953. She survives.

Mr. Anderson was an employee of Talon, Inc. for 12 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the United States Army, and was a member of Meadville Eagles Club.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his mother, Mrs. Joseph (Olive) Anderson, Washington; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Debbie) Smith, Cambridge Springs; Darla Anderson, at home; four sons, Douglas Anderson, Edinboro; David Anderson, Dean Anderson and Dennis Anderson,all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Peggy) Hammond, Washington; Mrs.Ralph (Wilma) Cross, Grape Vine, TX; a brother, Carl Anderson, United States civil service of Saudi Arabia; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at H. William VanMatre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs, where funeral services will beheld Tuesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Donald Miles, pastor of Christian Missionary and Alliance Church, officiating. Interment will be at Venango Cemetery.
