Obituary: Mrs. Glenda Alice Wilmoth Ware age 71 years a former resident of Belington and more recently a resident of Genesis Health Care Nursing Facility Sistersville Center departed this life at 3:15am, Sunday, April 24, 2011 in the Nursing Facility at Sistersville, WV.

She was born August 18, 1939 at Belington a daughter of the late Roy and Beulah Zirkle Wilmoth. On November 19, 1957 she was united in marriage to Keith Ware who preceded her in death July 1980.

Mrs. Ware is survived by two sons Dale K. Ware and wife Jackie of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Allen Ware and wife Maureen of Cape Coral, FL and one daughter, Cindy Louise Lemasters and husband Charles of New Martinsville, WV.

Also surviving are one sister, Violet Lawrence of Elkins, four brothers, Leo Wilmoth of Buckhannon, Carl L. Wilmoth of Belington, Paul Edward Wilmoth of Shepherdstown, and Larry Dewayne Wilmoth of Belington, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She attended the schools of Barbour County and was a 1957 graduate of the Belington High School and was a homemaker. Along with her husband, she owned and operated the Fort Pitt Shoe Store of New Martinsville, and then was employed by Sears. Mrs. Ware was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and the Laurel Mountain Post 410 VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Belington WV.

On Wednesday, April 27th 2011 at 2pm graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Judy Flynn at the Greenlawn Memorial Park at New Martinsville, WV and interment will follow. A memorial service will also be held on Thursday, April 28th at 1pm at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Belington with Pastor Arden Beck and Pastor Judy Flynn officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
