  Death of Centenarian

  Mrs. Louis Smallwood, grandmother of Sheriff W. W. Smallwood, of this County, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Lloyd, near Paris, Va., early Sunday morning, aged 100 years.

  The remains were brought to the Mountain Baptist Churchyard Monday afternoon, where interment was made.

  Mrs. Smallwood was the widow of Aaron Burr Smallwood, who died about eighteen years ago, and was the son of James Smallwood, who was a prominent soldier of the Revolutionary War.

  Mrs. Smallwood is survived by three sons, John F., Thomas J., and Bushrod, all of near Paris; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Drish and Mrs. Mary Lloyd, of near Paris and Mrs. Everett Fowler, of near Shepherd's Ford, Clarke county.
