Comments: Relationship to Henry Senior
Henry Stickle [SR] was bound to Caty Michael, likely the daughter of Daniel Michael [or Michel] in marriage 31 March 1787. In the tithable records of Fauquier County, Virginia, Henry or Henry senior is on the tithable records for 1786 - 1788, 1794, and 1797-1799. George was in the tithable records for 1787and 1789. There is no record of Henry senior again, but in the Fauquier County, Virginia tithable record of 1798 there is a Henry junior. Henry is next found in the 1850 US Census (see below). At this instant we may substantiate that Henry junior, married to Elizabeth Bolen [Bolden], is the forbear of James Garnett Stickles, Senior, because of the death records found for Thomas William Stickle, Charles Clinton Stickles, and Marshall Clinton Stickles, Senior. - [Donald E.
