Robert E. Reese Jr., 53, of Richwood died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Altercare Nursing facility in Bucyrus following a lengthy illness. A former employee of Parker Hannifin at Green Camp, he retired in 1996 after 30 years of service.

He was a 1964 graduate of Richwood High School and was a member of the former Richwood Ringer Slingers Horseshoe Club and Lima Beagle Club. He attended the Claibourne Advent Christian Church. He was born March 17, 1946, to Robert E. and Grace Louise Dailey Reese Sr. and was predeceased by his mother and a step-grandson. He is survived by his wife, Rayda M. Harraman Reese whom he married Dec. 31, 1984; his father; a son, Charles (Heidi) Reese of Richwood; a daughter, Cheryl (Ron) Dick of Richwood; two stepsons, Danny (Jackie) Sheets and Robert (Cheryl) Sheets of Delaware; two stepdaughters, Sallie (Duncan) Myford of Magnetic Springs and Johna (Steve) Gilliam of Prospect; seven grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Frederick Reese and James Jeffery Reese of Richwood; and a sister, Judy Nickel of Richwood.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Charles Fye will officiate and burial will be at the Price Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Fred Reese, Jim Reese, Ron Dick, Charlie Reese, Dan Redmond and Dave Mohler.
