Bruce W. Doman, 75, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain, following a brief illness. He was born July 19, 1939 in Buffalo Township, Pennsylvania, to the late George and Gertrude Doman.

Bruce was employed by Republic Steel in Elyria. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Cuban Crisis. He also had much involvement with Little League East, working as a coach, umpire and announcer for baseball games.

He is survived by his daughter, Becky Nemeth (Joe) of Elyria; grandchildren, Anthony, Amy, and Emily Nemeth and siblings, Duane (Judy), Jackie Meadows (Hobart), and Sharon Drummond (Gene), all of Elyria, Sue Lazear (Dean) of Washington, Pennsylvania, Rolene Plants (Rudy) of Avella, Pennsylvania and Marlene Blair (Red) of New Mexico and longtime friend, Barb Doman.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Jean; sister, Audrey Hilliard; brothers, Walter, Dwight, Ronnie and Bill Doman and infant sister.

Friends may call 4 until 7 P.M., Sunday, May 24, at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria. Funeral Service will follow immediately at 7 P.M. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
