Obituary - Benjamin Lewis Christian
Royalton - Benjamin Lewis Christian, 80, died Friday, May 15, 1992, in Shawnee Christian Nursing Center.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Vantrease Funeral Home in Royalton, with the Rev. Glenn Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Miner's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Christian was a superintendent with Royalton Water Works where he was employed for 14 years.
He was a follower of the Protestant faith.
He was born Oct 13, 1911 in Cabria, to Lewis and Senie Smidt Christian.
He married Ethel Cleon Stickels on Nov. 29, 1932, in Royalton. She proceeded him in death.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Betty Stover of Moore, Okla., Brenda Brandon of Royalton, Barbara Downs of Independence, Mo. and Beverly Bush of Christopher; one sister, Anna Unger of Maryland; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grand-children.
He was also proceded in death by an infant son, four brothers and one sister.
