The following obit for Larry appeared in the July 9, 1947 Star:

Graveside services were conducted 1L30 OM today in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville for Larry Eugene Broy, infant son of Mr. And Mrs. William Osborne Broy, of Clark county. The child was born Saturday, July 5th at Memorial hospital and died there last night.

In addition to his father who is a native of Clarke County and his mother, the former Miss Katherine Carter of West Virginia, the child is survived by two brothers and a sister, William Dailey, Lewis Tappan and Sandra Kay Broy. The Rev. R.K. McDonald, pastor of Berryville Presbyterian Church officiated.
