Notes about Elmer from Elmer's first child June's daughter:

According to a grand daughter of Frieda, Frieda never divorced her husband Elmer and she also never remarried. Elmer left his wife Frieda in 1945 immediately after Elmer's mother-in-law Fredericka died in early Nov 1945. The day after the funeral, Elmer left his wife & child and moved in with Jean. Frieda is not sure when the affair began but Jean was already pregnant with her first child, Richard, when they began living together. Frieda felt that Jean may have been pregnant before meeting Elmer but this is unknown. Richard took Elmer's last name and Frieda believes all the other children were Elmer's up to and including Benjamin.

Benjamin died of a suicide in 1983
