Mrs. Emma Mellick Kinney Godown, 73, Milford, NJ, died in Easton Hospital where she was a patient 12 days. Her husband, Noah Godown died in 1967.

Born in Milford, a daughter of the late William and Emma Swope Mellick, she resided there all her life. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Milford.

Surviving are four sons, Harry Kinney and Earl S. Godown, both of Milfrord, and Norman and Herbert Godown, both Riegelsville, three daughters, Mrs. Frank Bellis, Bloomsbury R.D.; Mrs. Robert Vegh, Milford, and Mrs. Robert Wegner, Hayward, Calif.; two stepsons, Wilbur and Clarence Godown, both of Frenchtown; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lillian Pethybridge, Riegelsville, and Mrs. Dorothy Hollo, Trenton; two sisters, Mrs. William Kinney, Phillipsburg, Mrs. Althea Meade, Easton; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
